about

I'm an independent public relations professional and writer based in Durham, NC. I currently manage pr for clients in the food and hospitality space. You can see my current client list here. Formerly, I lead PR for cooking and home brand Food52 during its acquisition and many years of tremendous growth. (Listen to founder Amanda Hesser share her story on How I Built This with Guy Raz.)

I’ve always been a storyteller and started my career working in newspapers and magazines after graduating from UNC’s School of Journalism and Media. My stories have appeared in National Geographic publications, Southern Living, and Kinfolk, among others. Years ago, I proofread Kinfolk magazine and The Kinfolk Home: Interiors for Slow Living. In 2014, I started working in PR at Michelle Lehmann Communications in New York City.

I now operate my own small shop, Dear Clive, from my home in Durham where I live with my husband, two daughters, and Boston terrier.
